AACR research presented at AERA 2024

Research work involving the AACR group will be featured as part of an organized poster set at the AERA Annual Conference. The session is titled: "AI and Formative Assessment: The Train Has Left the Station". The session focuses on some of the challenges and benefits of using AI as part of rich formative assessments. The session is on Thursday, April 11 2024

Tingting Li will present: Using AI to evaluate multimodal formative assessments in physical science
Ivy Wang will present: Investigating Use of Ontologies as Part of Automated Short Answer Scoring in Science Assessments

Separately, Dr. Leonora Kaldaras will also present a stand alone paper entitled: Developing Rubrics for AI Scoring of NGSS Learning Progression-Based Scientific Models.
