Version 2: Describe how the properties of ammonium molecules (NH4+) affect (promote or prevent) their diffusion across a pure phospholipid membrane that contains no proteins.

Version 3: Describe how the properties of benzene molecules (C6H6) affect (promote or prevent) their diffusion across a pure phospholipid membrane that contains no proteins.
